Taylor

Inspired by the work of Berlin based photographer Matthais Heiderick, Spring Summer 18 from taylor entitled ‘The Space Between’ explores bold geometrics, bright colour and a contrasting of negative space.
In taylor’s signature aesthetic, geometric shapes and strong linear form are dominant features of the collection. Circles angled against squares feature heavily in the exploration of negative space, while fluid curves are played against intersecting angular lines exploring a contrast of opposing elements. Summer suiting fabricated in geometric patterns is juxtaposed with fluid silk and viscose, further exploring this contrast.
Designed with the wearer in mind each garment creates a statement of its own to be tailored to the wearer whilst still remaining essentially wearable and effortlessly elegant.
In a bold transition from the expected neutral summer tones, this season artic blue plays off against glowing citrone yellow. Classic black and white are mainstays in the taylor integral pieces whilst also making a playful appearance in statement geometric
patterns. Soft grey mist colourways add a neutral element to the otherwise vivid palette, paired back with white for simple summer luxury.
